Answers
1. How long is each session?
Boot Camp is 45 minutes long. We suggest you arrive 10-15 minutes before class to stretch and foam roll, which we will teach you. All in all, allot 60 minutes at the fitness center.
The Express Boot Camp workouts are designed to last approximately 30 minutes long. It is still suggested you arrive 10-15 minutes before class to stretch and foam roll, so allot 45 minutes at the fitness center. (top)
2. How many days a week is Boot Camp?
Strength & Conditioning Boot Camp is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Cardio & Core Conditioning Boot Camp is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. How many times per week you attend depends on the package you choose. I suggest calling us directly at 717-609-2839 to discuss package options. (top)
3. Can I attend different class times?
We ask all Campers to commit to a class time to prevent overcrowding; however, if a Camper’s schedule must rotate, we do try to accommodate those needs. I suggest calling us directly at 717-609-2839 to discuss custom options. (top)
4. What can I expect upon arrival for Boot Camp?
Each Boot Camp instructor arrives on location and opens the doors 15 minutes before the official start of the workout. Campers are expected to use this time to go through their own personal improvement routine, i.e., stretching, foam rolling, etc. This is also the time to ask any questions and voice comments or concerns with the instructor before the start of the workout. Please know our main focus is keeping our Campers safe and healthy; thus, each class begins with a complete, state-of-the-art warm-up emphasizing mobility and activation to best prevent injury and to allow for a more effective workout.
Late arrivals are not allowed to workout without a proper warm-up. Campers who are chronically tardy will be subject to membership suspension or termination on a case-by-case basis. (top)
5. How much does the program cost?
We have various membership levels. I suggest calling us directly at 717-609-2839 to discuss membership options. (top)
6. What do I bring to class?
Not much, as we provide the equipment needed for your class, including clean sweat towels.
Each Camper should bring their own water-filled bottle, or can purchase a bottled water for a dollar at the front desk.
Also, appropriate attire for exercising is a must (NO revealing outfits! There is a dress code handout at the front desk if you are uncertain about what classifies as inappropriate attire.) (top)
7. How do I receive updates, emails, etc?
All Campers are provided with a newsletter sign-up link at the initial boot camp orientation. (top)
8. How does nutrition factor into the program?
Our goal is ease you into adopting healthier dietary habits for long-term success. All trial members will receive a complimentary nutrition quick-start plan that provides basic introductory nutrition guidelines to get the ball rolling. At the end of the tryout period, all new paying members are eligible for our monthly grocery store tour and nutrition seminar. It is here where we explain the tenets of sound nutrition for optimal health, performance, and body composition.
In addition, new paying members are provided with Paleo Lifestyle, an E-book consisting of monthly-updated, done-for-you belly fat-burning meal plans. You also get access to our Member Zone, which holds tons of delicious recipes and alternative meal plans. (top)

1. Are there age restrictions? I’m 62.
There is not a specific age limit because fitness levels vary greatly within age groups. Almost anyone can do the entry-level Boot Camp, and from there we’ll make recommendations about going onto the high-intensity Boot Camp or recommend another program. (top)
2. I am disabled with chronic back pain (or another ailment). Could I still do this program?
Every person and their chronic ailment is unique. We suggest allowing us to perform a fitness assessment with you to determine the action plan. We outsource some of this process to Physical Therapist Robert Gorinski DPT, CSCS, and Certified MDT. This is an outside resource and not covered under the Boot Camp pricing, but is required prior to entry depending on the nature of the ailment. We highly encourage this process, for many who have met with Robert have seen continued success and have learned ways to cope and manage their chronic pain.
Upon completion of the entry process, we will determine if moving to a higher-intensity program is the right fit. (top)
